We’re staying at All Star Sports from Fri January 3rd thru Sun January 5th. We have a dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare that Friday night after we arrive. If I park at the hotel, what bus do I need to take to get to dinner? How late do the busses run?

    Hello Garrett!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited about your meal at 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I ate myself to bursting when I was there last as everything was very yummy. I also loved the character experiences which were unique and so much fun! Mirabel and Princess Tiana were the highlights for me as we discussed family and food.

Travel between Resorts can be a little tricky as there is no direct complimentary transportation directly from one Walt Disney World Resort to another. However, the route to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is pretty easy. Give yourself at least an hour and a half for travel and wait time but head to the bus stop at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. The bus stop can be accessed by the exit doors near Sport Goofy Gifts & Sundries.  Take the next bus to Magic Kingdom Park. You can track when the next bus will arrive by looking at the TV hung at the stop or through your My Disney Experience Mobile App. You will then follow the signs to the Monorail where you will take the Resort Monorail and take it to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa which is the fourth stop. Get off at that station and head down to the first floor of the Resort. 1900 Park Fare is located directly next to the Grand Floridian Cafe. You can check in to your reservation right from your My Disney Experience Mobile App.

Disney transportation tends to run about one hour after the Park closes. Right now the Hours & Events Calendar for January 3, is showing that Magic Kingdom Park is closing at 9:00 pm. I expect the Monorail to continue till 10:00 pm or so. If you find that the wait times or the options are not what you would like you can always book a rideshare such as with Uber or Lyft. I sometimes do this when I'm running out of time and maybe late to a Resort dining reservation.  Head to the Resort's main entrance to use this option.

I hope you have a great time! Make sure to try the famous Grand Floridian Strawberry Soup with Fresh Strawberries and Cream. It's my favorite dish and I ate five bowls in one sitting and still wanted more.

    Happy Planning!
