Ahoy there, Yan!
What
a sweet fantasy of a sail - a spring Mediterranean cruise sounds like the best way to usher in summer. Our babymoon was on a
Mediterranean cruise many moons ago, and it was honestly one of my favorite trips. You are going to love the food, the culture, and the gorgeous places you will visit. Add the fantastic Disney service on top, and you've got the perfect recipe for a lifetime of memories.
You are going to be so impressed with the live entertainment on board! Each show I see impresses me more than the next, and I've seen the shows that are currently running, so I can vouch for them. The shows run twice in the evening to allow both dinner seatings the opportunity to see them; the early show begins around 5:45 pm, and the late show is around 8:30 pm. Currently, the three live shows are:
Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular
Disney's Believe
Frozen, A Musical SpectacularWe don't have a specific rotation schedule, as it is subject to change, but the
Navigator app will be your best friend on the cruise. It will have up-to-date showtimes and if you allow notifications on your phone, you can "heart" the specific time you want, and the app will alert you when it's time to head to your event!
As a head's up for planning, we do have the
7-Night cruise dress suggestions, so hopefully, this is also helpful for your packing list:
• Night 1: Casual
• Night 2: Formal
• Night 3: Casual
• Night 4:
Pirate Night • Night 5: Casual
• Night 6: Semi-Formal
• Night 7: Casual
Yan, I lived in
Barcelona years ago; if you happen to visit La Sagrada Familia (which I highly recommend!), say hello to the gentlemen playing bocce right outside the subway station; they were a fixture on my way home every evening! Feel free to float back by with any other questions.
Bon Voyage!
