For a family on the Disney Dining Plan, are Table Service credits categorized by Adult and Child (3-9), or are they just all compiled in one group? If the former, how can I check the status of the Adult vs. Child Table Service categories of my party?

Hello there Jonathan, and welcome to planDisney!

We love helping guests plan the magical details of their Walt Disney World vacations ahead of time. Then your family can just focus on enjoying every moment, and making amazing memories together!

My family loves using the Disney Dining Plan on our vacations. Yes, if you have children ages 3-9 in your party, your table service entitlements will be broken down into adult Table Service credits and child Table Service credits. All snack credits are the same, so those will be one total amount available for your party.

Your Dining Plan entitlements will be automatically credited to your My Disney Experience account on check-in day, and will be valid through midnight on your check-out day. You can use in any combination you choose. Maybe one day you are on-the-go busy in the parks, and end up dining at two tasty Quick-Service locations... perhaps placing a handy mobile food order to skip the stand-by line? Then the next day you utilize one Table Service meal entitlement for a fun brunch character dining experience like Chef Mickey's... and later use a second Table Service meal that evening for dinner? The Dining Plan allows you the flexibility to do this!

You can check your remaining Dining Plan credits balance in three different ways:

    1. Shown at the bottom of your receipt after using credits.

    2. In the My Disney Experience app, find your Resort reservation details, look under the "Check Dining Plan" icon.

    3. Ask at your resort front desk or at Guest Services.

May I also recommend your first order of business be swinging by your resort's Quick-Service restaurant to pick up your included resort-refillable mugs? Woo hoo! We love using these frequently throughout our trip for free soda, coffee, lemonade, hot cocoa and tea refills at the drink stations.

Don't forget to make some advance dining reservations when your eligibility window opens up, 60 days prior to your check-in date, starting at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

I hope this helps, and that you'll swing by planDisney again any time with any questions as you plan for your wonderful Disney World vacation!

    The magic is calling,
    Tami
