Hi, My family of 5 will be going on a disney cruise(DREAM) Dec 2011,my grandson's 1st birthday will be coming the up, we will celebrate it on the ship as well at WDW,I would like to know if i could bring a cake to the park.

    Hi Monique,

What an awesome way to celebrate being 1! A cruise on the Dream and a trip to Walt Disney World.

Since there is no restriction on bringing food into the park, I guess you could manage to bring a cake into the park to celebrate provided you did all of the serving. I am not sure that you could ask a restaurant to serve your cake. Plus it might get squashed on the rides! I have been known to ding a cake outside of the parks so I would not even chance it inside the parks.

You can order your grandson a custom cake from the Cake Hotline. You can call the team at the Cake Hotline 48 hours prior to when you would like the cake and they can design a special treat. The cake will then arrive safely at the restaurant of your choice so that everyone can enjoy the celebration.

The number to the Cake Hotline is 407-827-2253.

Wishing you a magical birthday vacation!
