Hello, my family and I are going on a Disney cruise in July and have a question about the mixology class mentioned on the Disney Cruise Line Blog. I believe you can only register for this class once on board the ship, and where on board do you register?

    Welcome Aboard, Robert!

It was after our third cruise that my husband and I discovered mixology. And now, it is on our MUST DO list for every cruise.

You can register for a variety of things once you board your Disney Cruise ship. Wine tastings, whiskey tastings, margarita tastings to name a few. And, MIXOLOGY! In most mixology classes, space is limited to about 15 participants. The bartender will take small groups behind the bar and teach them how to make the drinks for the other cruisers. We have always had an amazing time at these classes, and even learned a few things.

You will want to head to Guest Services upon boarding to sign up for any special classes or tours (be sure to ask about a galley tour). Mixology costs $20 per person and you get about five drinks for that fee. Guest Services will charge your onboard account and tickets will be delivered to your stateroom at least the day prior to the class. They fill quickly, which is why I recommend heading to Guest Services immediately.

Other MUST DOs for us include having brunch in Palo and ordering Mickey Premium Ice Cream bars through room service.

I hope you have an amazing cruise and a super-fun mixology class!

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
