    My family will be going on a Disney cruise in August of 2014. How do we become Castaway members or do we have to wait until after the cruise to be eligible?

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Planning for a magical voyage is so much fun, and I know you are looking forward to learning all about cruising with your favorite mouse over the next year!  You won't believe at how fast the time will fly by, and it will be your family's turn to be sprinkled with pixie dust on your cruise vacation!
    Disney Cruise Line's Castaway Club is for returning cruisers.  So, once your sailing is over, you will automatically be members of Disney's cruise club!  There are three levels-Silver (1-4 cruises), Gold (5-9 cruises), and Platinum (10+ cruises).  There are a few perks involved in the membership which can include early booking for onboard activities and port adventures, special check-in line, and stateroom gifts.  As you cruise more often, the perks do increase!
