    My family of 4 (DS 13 & DD 7) are planning our first trip to DW June 22 - 28th this year with MYW & PH & Dining. Planning what to do when is overwhelming and I would love some guidance. The 24th is DD birthday so I want have thisday geared tow

    Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation, Jessica! When planning our Walt Disney World vacations, I like to first find out what the park hours will be for our trip so that I can determine which parks to visit on each day. I can then book Advanced Dining Reservations for our table-service restaurants based on our itinerary allowing us to maximize our time in the parks without spending a great deal of time traveling to meals. Follow this link to view the park hours for your dates of travel.Because you are a guest staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you will be eligible to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, which gives guests additional time in the parks above and beyond standard operating hours. My family enjoys taking advantage of Morning Extra Magic Hours, in particular, and find we are able to experience many of our favorite attractions with little to no wait. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online.For your daughter's birthday, you may want to consider booking a Character Dining Experience with the Disney Princesses at either Cinderella's Royal Table located in Magic Kingdom Park or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall located in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot. I would also recommend booking a magical makeover for your daughter at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where she will be transformed into a "little princess." I think a magical transformation followed by a royal meal would be practically perfect for a birthday celebration! Be sure to pick up your daughter a birthday celebration button at Guest Relations in any theme park. She will love all the birthday wishes she will receive on her special day.
