My family, DH, DD-9, and myself, stayed at the CBR in 2006 with a preferred location room and had a wonderful time. We are planning to visit again, but I am looking for reviews on the new pirate themed pool. Will this be appropriate for my 9YO daughter?

Greetings Beth from a fellow midwesterner,

Anytime I see an interest in the awesome pirate theming at Caribbean Beach I take notice as I am a pirate by heart. I just recently visited the new pirate rooms and pool at Caribbean Beach resort and I can tell you that this scallywag gives both two thumbs up.

The rooms have some great attention to fun details and the pool is amazing. The pirate splash zone has a interactive ship with squirting water and slides and while some of the slides may be designed for toddlers, I think it is a great spot to have some water fun. The main pool has also been refurbished and has some great "big girl" slides and should easily meet your pirate princess' requirements. I saw plenty of kids of all ages enjoying the main pool as well as the pirate ship area.

A great place to read reviews from recent guests is at www.allears.net. Select reviews from the top selections and then click on Caribbean Beach Resort. Hope you have a great time!
