Thanks for reaching out to
planDisney, Ken!
I am so excited for your family's vacation - visiting
Walt Disney World Resort in February is a great time to escape to sunny Florida, and your
theme park tickets with the
Park Hopper option ensure that you'll be able to experience all that the theme parks have to offer!
Currently, adding the Park Hopper option (or Park Hopper Plus option if you want to include
water parks, golf, or other select offerings) to your theme park ticket allows you to visit more than one theme park each day.
Park Pass Reservations are currently only required for the
first park you plan to visit on a given day. Once you visit that park, you are then able to "hop" to other parks on the same day after 2 p.m.
For example, on a recent trip, I wanted to start my day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom park before heading to
EPCOT in the evening to catch the new nighttime spectacular,
Harmonious. I made a Park Pass Reservation for Disney's Animal Kingdom park for that day, and after my visit there, I was able to head to EPCOT any time after 2 p.m.! The ability to visit additional parks is subject to the park's capacity limitations, and requirements for reservations are subject to change. If there are any changes to park availability, you should receive notification via the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. That being said, I've had great experiences with park-hopping and hope you do too!
Ken, you definitely had the right idea when making your reservations, but do go back and check to make sure your reservations each day are for the park you want to visit first. If you need to make a change, it's easy to do (subject to
reservation availability), and I recommend you do it as soon as possible. My fellow panelists, Aena and Jacqueline, recently provided fantastic step-by-step answers about
canceling and re-booking or
modifying your reservations. Check those out and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
Have an enchanting trip!
