Greetings, Jan, and welcome to planDisney, we thank you for consulting us with your question regarding the
Disney Park Pass reservation system.
I understand that it can be a bit concerning to attempt to modify plans online, rest assured, the process to alter your planning is comprehensive and step by step, so let me begin guiding you through to help you achieve your desired results for your Disney vacation, Jan.
The Disney Park Pass reservation system cannot be modified, the system will request you to cancel your existing Theme Park date plans first. I strongly recommend that you
first check on the
availability of Disney Park Pass reservations for the new desired date and park
before you cancel existing plans. To begin this process, please log in to your
My Disney Experience account, and select “My Plans.”
If you have success with new Theme Parks and respective available dates, only then proceed to cancel existing Disney Park Pass reservations. During this process, you will also be able to select which Guests in your Family & Friends list who have valid Theme Park admission, will be on those new plans. I’ve done this several times, and it always worked well for me, don't worry, Jan.
Have you heard about the
Disney Genie service? It is the helpful basic itinerary builder that works around your favorite attractions and dining, which maps out a loose itinerary with a lot of flexibility for your day at the Theme Park. Select all your favorite attractions when you arrive at the Theme Park, and Disney Genie service “Tip Board” will send you up-to-date notifications for approximate wait times for Standby, and Lightning Lane queues. I experienced many more attractions than I normally would have during my recent visit, it was so convenient and efficient.
As well, I benefited from
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering on my device where I was able to select my Quick-Service meals in advance.
Thank you once again for consulting planDisney, Jan, and we wish you a magical Disney vacation!
Best Disney Wishes,
Jacqueline
