My family has 5-day military tickets and event tickets for MNSSHP. If I link all the tickets to our MagicBands, and we enter MK early for MNSSHP (around 5), how do I ensure our event tickets are used and we don't lose 1 day of our military ticket?

Hello, Michelle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is an excellent question! If you’ll only be attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and don’t plan to enter another Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park that day, you’ll want to stop by the Guest Relations Ticket Window outside Magic Kingdom Park to make sure your Party ticket has been prioritized over your Military Promotional Ticket. It’s imperative that you do this before you enter the Theme Park. You may also be able to prioritize your tickets over the phone by calling the “Existing Tickets” helpline. As you enter Magic Kingdom Park, you can also ask the attendant at the touchpoint to verify that the proper ticket was used. If you do plan on entering another Theme Park earlier that day, though, there's no need to worry. Since the Military Promotional Tickets each include the Park Hopper option, you can visit as many Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks in one day as you'd like.

Using your Special Event ticket instead of the 5-day Military Promotional Ticket to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is an excellent way to enjoy six days’ worth of Theme Park fun during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you’re staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I would recommend spending the morning and afternoon prior to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party exploring your hotel and/or enjoying the pool. You can also visit Disney Springs for ticket-free fun, too. Make sure to give yourselves time for a little nap before heading to Magic Kingdom Park so you’ll be well-rested and ready to enjoy the Party to its fullest potential. It’s my favorite Special Event of the year!

Bonus tip: I’d recommend sticking around for the second Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade as it tends to be less crowded than the first. Also make sure you check out the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show as well as the brand new fireworks spectacular that makes its debut this year. Did you know that if you’re eligible for the Military Promotional Ticket you’re also eligible for a discounted Memory Maker? This is a great way to capture your memories not only during the Party, but on all of the other days of your vacation, too! You'll find the details explained in the information about the Military Promotional Tickets.

Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Michelle! Please let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer for you.
