Hi Carla! Welcome to planDisney. Your visit is almost here, and planning a Disneyland getaway during the holiday season is truly something special. Let’s take a look at how flexible your
reservations can be as you fine-tune the best dates for your family’s visit.
When you purchased your Park Hopper tickets, you selected specific visit dates and a starting location for each day. That selection is what creates your theme park reservations, which are required alongside valid admission to enter Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. The good news is that these reservations are not set in stone. If your plans change, you may modify your reservation dates as long as there is availability for the new days you’re hoping to visit.
To make updates, log in to your My Disney Account using the
Disneyland app or
website and head to the My Plans section. There, you’ll see your existing theme park reservations with an option to manage them. Select the reservation you’d like to change and follow the prompts to modify or cancel it. Once your update is complete, you’ll receive a new confirmation reflecting the changes. Before releasing your current dates, I strongly recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar first. Be sure to filter for Park Hopper tickets so you’re viewing the correct availability for your ticket type.
As for adding an extra day to your visit, that’s absolutely possible as well, provided tickets and reservations are available. To do this, you’ll want to contact
Disneyland Ticket Services directly. A helpful Cast Member can assist with upgrading your tickets by adding an additional day. Keep in mind that upgrades must be of equal or greater value, and once the extra day is added, you’ll still need to secure a theme park reservation for that new date. Calling as soon as you know you’d like the additional day is the best way to ensure availability during this popular time of year.
