Family of 4 (daughters ages 5 and 8) vacationing at Disney in late August. We're staying at a Moderate Resort. Can you please help me select one. My daughters love swimming pools with fun slides and activities. thank you so much - love this panel!!!

Hi, Kathleen!  If swimming pools with fun activities are important, the first location that comes to mind is the Caribbean Beach Resort.  The pool area there is awesome, with a pretty life size pirate ship with water slides, canons, and a bucket that dumps water periodically.  It's great fun for children, and the pool itself at the resort is very nice.

Another good location is Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  The pool there is known as the Dig Site, and features a pyramid water feature and a great play area.  I personally prefer this resort for the Pepper Market, and I love the landscaping and the lake here.  If my nearly five and recently nine year old daughters were given a choice, they would probably opt for Caribbean Beach.

You can't really go wrong with any of the moderate resorts.  The pool at Port Orleans French Quarter is awesome as well, but I posed the question to those expert children of mine, and Caribbean Beach is their favorite.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
