Our family is cruising out of NYC on the Disney Magic for an 8 night Bahamian Cruise in June 2012. How many formal / semi formal nights should I plan for?

    Ahoy Lucie!

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  Cruising out of the Big Apple next month is going to be a magical experience!  I'm also looking forward to waving bon voyage to the beautiful New York City skyline on the Magic this summer!  During your eight-night sailing, you can expect one formal night and one semi-formal night.  The rest of the nights are cruise casual including one pirate-themed night.  The formal night is planned for Day Two and semi-formal will be Day Seven which are both sea days.  Dining on Disney Cruise Line is quite unique since you have the opportunity to rotate to three amazing main dining rooms. During your Bahamian sailing, you can expect to visit two of the restaurants three times and one restaurant twice and enjoy being taken care of by the same outstanding servers!  Your extraordinary rotational dining experience will definitely be a highlight of your vacation!

Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel with your cruise question!  As you continue to count down the days until your Disney adventure, please let me know if I can help you further!

Have a magical day and wonderful cruise vacation!
