Ahoy Josh!
When we decided to cruise with Disney many years ago my son was not quite two and we thought about leaving him at home with the grandparents. After doing some research we decided to not only bring him along but also the grandparents too! I'm so glad we decided to include everyone because it was a magical trip since Disney Cruise Line caters to Guests of all ages! My son warmed up very quickly to the characters and the interactions
between him, Mickey, Donald, Pluto and Goofy are some of my fondest
memories. There are activities for the youngest sailors to enjoy and watching them toddle around the ship is priceless! The Cruise Staff incorporates Disney Jr. and Playhouse Disney events into the schedule along with lots of family friendly fun! Your older two will be able to enjoy the Oceaneer Club and Lab and at
times these spaces are open to all Guests. During the Open House hours, you can
accompany your toddler to experience free play and planned programming. There is a water play area for splashtacular fun for those cruisers not yet potty trained as well.
We did utilize the onboard
nursery for my son and he loved it! There is an hourly nominal charge and advanced reservations are recommended. The nursery space is bright, interactive and filled with age appropriate toys!
But, if you plan on venturing ashore for active adventures, you may run into an age requirement issue. Some adventures are for Guests either five or older so this may be a factor you want to consider in your final decision. If you are comfortable with the nursery, you can reserve time during your excursions which is great option.
I'm about out of room, Josh so I hope I was of some help. If I can assist you further, please let me know!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
