My family is on a cruise on May 3, 2019 on the Magic. Can you tell me which night is the formal night?

    Welcome aboard, Raymond!

The Disney Magic is one of my favorite of Disney's pixie-dusted ships. I'm so happy to hear that your family will be setting sail on the Magic for five incredible nights in the Bahamas this spring! Plus, you'll enjoy a day at Disney's Castaway Cay, always a favorite for my family!

This shorter sailing will not include a Formal Night, but typically there is an Optional Dress Up Night on the evening of your day at sea. On that evening, you'll see a wide range of attire, from guests choosing to dress in Cruise Casual as on the other evenings, and other guests who go all out in formal attire. My family and I do like to dress up for these evenings, as it makes it more special and we like to get family photos that night. It's also a great night for pictures with the Disney Characters, since often they'll be wearing fancy attire too! So, pack what you're most comfortable wearing for that night, Raymond, and you'll be all set!

Please stop back again if you have more questions before your big sail date arrives. We're happy to help!
