My family has a cruise booked for Jan 2015 on the disney dream, if I wanted to add 5 days at WDW while we are in Florida, would I get better rates booking through the cruise line vs the WDW web site or is there no difference?

    Hi Trina,

I love the idea of a stay at the Walt Disney World Resorts along with a Disney Cruise! I have done this twice and both trips were magical.

I would look at adding on through the Disney Cruise line as well as through the Disney website. You never know if there are deals to be offered. I would also look at booking through other sources such as AAA or even your airline carrier might offer packages.

One advice I will give you about doing the land/sea combo is to schedule your transfers with a private company. The pricing is comparable but it allows you greater flexibility to schedule arrivals and departures. I love getting to Port Canaveral around 10:30 am. This allows me to be one of the first ones on the ship. My family can grab lunch or go for a swim. I love Happy Limos to handle my cruise transfers.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
