    My family is coming in 2 weeks to Disneyworld for the 1st time. We are not staying at a resort as they are all booked. Can we still go to Character Dining? If so, which one do you recommend that does not cost alot. We are on a tight budget. Kids 16,7 &

    Hi Lisa,

    How exciting for you to vacation at the Walt Disney World Resorts with your family.

    You do not have to stay in the Walt Disney World Resorts to enjoy Character Dining.  If the restaurant is in a park, you will need admission to that park to eat there.  However, for Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Hotel, anyone can eat there.

    All the character meals are about the same price.  My favorite is Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom which features Pooh and friends.

    So go ahead and make your Advance Dining Reservations at 407-WDW-DINE.
