    My family is coming to WDW Sept 2014. Staying at PO Riverside and will need to travel to Shades of Green to pick up our discounted Military tickets. Will it be quicker to take a taxi to Shades of Green and approx. how much is the fare to & from? Than

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel!

    Anytime you are traveling from one resort to another within Walt Disney World is can be tricky and time consuming. Traveling via Disney Bus Transportation from your resort to Shades of Green will require you to take one of the buses headed to any of the theme parks then transferring to the next bus going to Shade of Green. This trip may take up to one hour EACH WAY. In my opinion, that is precious Disney time lost.

    The quickest way to get from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort to Shades of Green is via taxi cab. Most cab rides within Walt Disney World are less than $20 with tip each way. Again, saving precious Disney time is worth the cost.
