    My family is coming to wdw in late jan. and i was wondering do they ever give free upgrades to your rooms

    You must be so looking forward to heading South for a magical Disney vacation John! U have heard many stories of people getting upgrades. A friend of mine was recently upgraded from a standard room to a family suite at All Star Music, and another one was upgraded to a Savannah view at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Other upgrades I've seen have varied from preferred location to castle views and concierge level . I have never been so fortunate to get upgraded, but fingers are crossed for you John!
