My family & I are coming to WDW in June/July 2012 for 3 weeks. After much research, the best option is for us to get an annual pass. I live in Nevada.Do I have to purchase them directly from Disney or are there other options that have discounted pric

Three weeks in Disney sounds pretty wonderful - how exciting! You are right to be cautious about where you buy tickets. While saving a few dollars is always nice, there are many scammers out there trying to peddle fake Disney tickets, so the buyer should definitely beware.

AAA and Maple Leaf Tickets are both reputable ticket sellers that offer slight discounts on WDW tickets. However, quite honestly there is not much of a discount to be had. You can often find deals on rooms or dining, but almost never do you see discounted park tickets. The prices are pretty much WYSIWYG.

All that said, for annual passes, you need to buy through Disney. There are a few discounts available for local Florida residents, but unfortunately not for the rest of us. No worries, though - you get so many discounts on dining, shows, and merchandise because of your annual pass that you'll make up the difference in no time. :)

    Have a fantastic vacation!
