My family and I are coming to WDW for the first time ever..we purchased the early morning magic which is @ 745am. We are staying on site..will resort transportation(buses) be operating this early for the event or will I have to drive my own car?

    Hi Brittaney,

Hooray! I love when guests have their first vacation at Walt Disney World!

The magic of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is that a car is not needed. You have access to the Walt Disney World Transportation system. This system of buses, monorails and boats operates one hour before a park opens and ends one hour after a park closes. This allows you leave the car at home and leave the driving to Disney.

You will have transportation available that early in the morning. You will want to check with your resort's concierge for the time you need to leave.

While you could drive your car and general parking is free as you are staying on property, the Magic Kingdom parking lot is further away. You would still need to take a boat or monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
