Hello! My family is coming for a visit Oct 27-29 to the Animal Kingdom Villas, a 40th birthday present postponed because of TS Fay. Unfortunately, I will have to work a bit, and need wireless internet access? Is it available at AK?

Wired (not wireless) internet service is available in the rooms at the Animal Kingdom Villas.  If you reserved the Villas directly with Disney reservations, there will be a fee of approximately $10 per 24-hour period (as of October 2008) for internet service.  If you reserved the Villa using Disney Vacation Club points, then you will not be charged a fee for internet service.  You should find an internet cable hanging in a bag in your closet, but it might be easier to bring a cable just in case.

My understanding is that wireless internet service is only available (for a similar charge as mentioned above) in some of the common areas (lobby, concierge lounge, etc.) of the convention-oriented resorts, including the BoardWalk Resort, Contemporary Resort, Coronado Springs Resort, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. Wireless internet service is also available at the Wide World of Sports complex.

    Hope that helps. ºoº
