My family and I are coming for spring break this year. Will we need to make reservations for single day park tickets?

Hey Howd Hey Luke and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort later this spring. Spring is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World in part due to the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Before we get too far into all there is to be excited about for your upcoming trip, let's talk about the recent changes to Theme Park Reservations

Disney has recently updated the policy around Theme Park Reservations at the beginning of this year. Currently, those individuals who purchase date-based tickets, no longer need reservations to get into the parks. This includes 1-day tickets, multi-day tickets and tickets included in vacation packages. Some other ticket options such as Annual Passholders and Florida resident tickets, may still need reservations to get into the parks. The more common way to purchase theme park tickets is through the Disney site which is date-based and no longer needs reservations. If this was the way you purchased your tickets, Luke you are in the clear and no longer need reservations!

There have been many changes that Disney has recently made to update the theme park experience for parkgoers. I would encourage you to follow Disney Parks on social media or over at Disney Parks Blog to keep up on all the latest news across the resort. Here you will find updates on all the excitement around the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival as well as all that is going on throughout Walt Disney World.

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip and I hope you have a Magical time! Please feel free to stop back with any questions you may have, we are always happy to help!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
