My family is coming in Febuary and I was told to plan an hour to make sure you are there for reservations. I was wondering if I could rent a golf cart for the week and be able to use that to go to all the parks and make my reservations on time? Thanks

Other than within the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds, there are no golf carts available for guest rental. Additionally, due to the massive scope of Walt Disney World, a golf cart really wouldn't suffice for general transportation.

All of WDW is approximately 40 square miles -- about the size of San Francisco. As an example of the scale you're dealing with, the Magic Kingdom is approximately 5 miles from the Animal Kingdom, as the crow flies. It is more like seven miles over roads. The Disney transportation system does a great job of getting guests to these disparate locations in the most efficient way possible: via bus, boat, or monorail. Depending on your starting and ending location, you may need to make a transfer. Just to be safe and allow for this, Disney Dining always recommends that you leave an hour for transportation.

However, there are some cases where an hour is far too generous. For example, if you are at the Magic Kingdom and have a reservation at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary, you could easily get there in 15 minutes. Similarly, if you are at the Beach Club and have a reservation at the Rose & Crown in Epcot, 15-20 minutes would be sufficient.

Your best course of action is to speak with a cast member at your resort about each of your reservations and they can help you more accurately judge the time necessary for travel.

Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World.
