    Hi. My family and I are coming to DW in July. I’m noticing that on 7/16, HS closes at 9, but the Star Wars fireworks are at 9:30. Are rides still open during this time? Thanks

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending us your question about park closing times. 

    Usually, if a park closes at 9:00 pm, they will allow guests to get in line for a given attraction up to five minutes before the park closes and will be allowed to remain in line until they ride the attraction. After the official park closing time, no one else will be allowed to join in. 

    Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is more than just a fireworks display. You will love to enjoy John Williams’ majestic theme filling the air at the park as the force of the most beloved Star Wars characters can be felt throughout the park. State-of-the-art projection effects, dynamic lighting, lasers and pyrotechnics will make you shiver as scenes from the Star Wars saga are projected on the walls of the Chinese theater. Be sure to check the entertainment schedule, the My Disney Experience app or the Times Guide at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the exact times this show will be running.
