Hello! My family is coming to DW (again) in Sept with a stay at the GF (again). My ? is I heard about bonfires/s'more making/movies on their beach. Can you tell me more about this? And what nights this is held? My twin girls will love this! Thanks

Hi, Kellie!  On the beach overlooking the Seven Seas Lagooon, the Grand Floridian currently has a nightly bonfire, where you can roast marshmallows, make s'mores, sing along with some favorite campfire songs, and then watch a family friendly Disney movie on the portable screen.  This is a fairly new event, beginning just this past spring, and it seems like a great way to spend an evening with children!

The marshmallows and s'mores kits are available for purchase, but everything else is free.  The festivities begin around 8 o'clock, but the time varies seasonally, so do check with the hotel before heading over there.

I hope your girls have a great time!  I know my kids have always enjoyed things like this!

    Have a terrific vacaton!
