Hello!!! My family and I are coming down Feb 2-11, staying at Port Orleans Riverside, in a princess room overlooking the river. I have heard that there are 3 bus stops, which I am not so thrilled about because my kids get antsy. How long to the parks?

    Hi Kerrilee!

My family loved our stay at Disney's Port Orleans--Riverside this past year! Whether relaxing at Ole' Man Island pool, or tasting the great offerings at Riverside Mill, you will truly enjoy your time amongst the southern comfort.

Port Orleans actually has four bus stops for guest use: The West Depot, near Alligator Bayou; The North and South depots, which are convenient to the mansions, and the Mason/Dixie Platforms near the main entrance. I can tell say that travel times to and from the parks usually took 30 minutes or more in the morning and 45 minutes to an hour in the evening. It's a pleasant drive, but it can be tedious nonetheless when dealing with children, carriages and packages. Many guests rent cars, either at the airport or at the car care center, just for the convenience of being able to come and go as they please.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie
