My family is coming to Disneyworld with a 12 and a 14 year old. I want to give them money of their own to spend. But Im not comfortable with linking their bands with my credit card without some way of putting a limit to spend. An suggestions.

    Hello Melissa!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so happy you are finding our vacation planning advice useful as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort adventure.   Helping fellow Guests have unforgettable vacations makes my heart so happy.

I just got back from a trip with my 12 year old daughter and her best friend.   I was able to set a spending limit on each of their MagicBands that would be charged back to my credit card that was linked.   Once this spending limit was reached, they could not charge anything else.   It worked out wonderfully and allowed the girls to budget throughout the trips,  a skill all kids need to learn.    To set a limit simply visit with a Cast Member at the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel and they can take care of it for you in just a few short minutes.   Isn't that great?

I hope this has helped.  Please stop by again with any other questions you have.  It's always a pleasure to lend a helping hand.
