Hi we are a family of 9 coming to Disneyworld Florida in March 2027. We are planning to stay at Port Orleans Riverside Resort. can we pay to upgrade from Quick Service Dining Plan to Full Disney Dining Plan ? What is the upgrade cost 6 adults / 3 kids

Hi Paul! I'm glad you stopped by planDisney with your question about the Disney Dining Plan. I've made good use of the Table-Service Dining Plan before, and it really is the easiest and most convenient way to plan for meals while vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort. Your holiday is just under a year away, and I can tell you're a planner like me and want to get everything squared away! Planning ahead now will allow you to simply enjoy your trip once you're on it, so let's see what the deal is on upgrading dining plans.

Your arrival date falls within the exclusion window for the complimentary Quick Service Dining Plan that is being offered for stays in 2027. I see that bookings for that offer begin April 21st, just a few days from now. It may be worth checking the details of that upcoming offer, especially if your travel dates are flexible. If your dates are set, you should be able to upgrade your Quick Service Dining Plan by contacting a Cast Member in Guest Services. The difference in price between the two plans is approximately £30 for adults and £5 for kids ages 3-9, so you would pay that difference per guest per night of your stay. You can do a bit of napkin math to get a roundabout number, but a Cast Member can provide an exact figure for you.

Don't forget to make your dining reservations 60 days ahead of time! I'm sure your group is looking at all the delicious options that are available, and make sure to check for a complete list of participating locations once your holiday is a bit closer.

Let us know how else we can help, Paul! I'd love to meet you back here at planDisney if you have other questions about how to make your holiday the best it can be.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
