    My family and I are coming to Disney World for the varsity completion. They already got their tickets and reserved their park days. I still haven’t received my ticket from varsity. Is there a way I can be added to their reservations if it’s just me?

    Congratulations to your cheerleader and the team’s bid to attend one of Varsity’s Competitions being held at Walt Disney World. This year things are a little different at Walt Disney World and for the competition event. And I being a former cheer parent and a planDisney panelist can empathize. 

    As Walt Disney World and Varsity work together to better accommodate and resolve some of the conundrums, I suggest closely monitoring your email. Varsity has recently sent an email, to all attending, addressing your Walt Disney World tickets and securing a Disney Park Pass reservation. 

    It is important Guests make a My Disney Experience profile and download the mobile app. Sydney, once you have received your Walt Disney World ticket link it to the My Disney Experience account your family is using. Next, open your My Disney Experience mobile app and select the menu tab in the lower right-hand corner. Scroll down and select Chat With Us and type in “VARSITY.” A Disney Cast Member will then confirm your family’s information. Have ready their ticket information, your ticket information and if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel the reservation number. Please note, the Chat feature is not available 24hrs a day. The Cast Member will assist and help to the best of their availability. Again, check your email for further information from Varsity. 

    Before your arrival, I recommend you become comfortable navigating you My Disney Experience mobile app and discovering everything it can do for you. Guests can monitor their Disney Resort Collection hotel vacation package or room reservation, purchase/link/upgrade Walt Disney World Tickets, make/cancel Disney Park Pass Reservations, utilize the Disney MagicMobile service, research/reserve advanced table-service dining reservations, make mobile food and beverage orders, stay up to date on attractions wait-times and that’s just a little bit of what this handy-dandy pixie-dusted tool can do for you.
