    My family is coming to Disney World in September. We are staying in AOA Cars Suite. My Grandson loves Lightning McQueen and Mader will he be able to see them while in any of the parks?

    Hi Rose!

    It sounds like your grandson and my  two sons have a lot in common.   They all LOVE the Cars movie and  it's heartwarming characters.   My family recently returned from a stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort where we also enjoyed  a Cars Family Suite.   My boys were in heaven.   The rooms were huge, and so well themed,  the only problem was solving fights over would get to sleep on the convertible Mater bed each night.  I know your grandson is going to be so excited when he arrives at the Resort. It may be hard to get him to want to ever leave.

    Rose, you will see both Lightning McQueen and Mater in the courtyard outside of your Family Suite.  You can take pictures with them and even touch them.   My boys thought it was amazing that their favorite characters lived right outside our hotel room window.   During the day if you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios you will also find a character picture spot that includes both Lightning McQueen and Mater at the same time. This fun spot is located near the Streets of America, you can locate it on the guide map available when you enter the theme park, or on the My Disney Experience application you can download for your smart phone.
