My family is coming to Disney World in June. We are staying at a WDW hotel on the monorail. Our daugter is 9. It was her first time at the parks 2 years ago. I wanted to know what is new in 2012/13 and what is a MUST see?

    Ralph,

As always, Disney has been busy innovating!

Without question the single most notable addition since two years ago is the unveiling in the Magic Kingdom of the new Fantasyland. Within this magical new place you will find the Enchanted Tales with Belle experience, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, Ariel's Grotto, and the new quick service/table service restaurant, Be Our Guest.

Then there is the OTHER section of the new Fantasyland, Storybook Circus, where Dumbo has found a new home where waiting in line is not so bad as it used to be. There are a few other surprises there, both old and new.

In Epcot they have re-opened Test Track, and it is pretty slick.

In Hollywood Studios the Star Tours ride, now in 2.0 mode, is also re-opened. It has undergone a SERIOUS improvement!

I can't think of a lot new at the Animal Kingdom, though the Kilimanjaro Safaris has undergone a plot change, and I think it is even better than ever.

I think all of these equate to a Must See. Especially the new Fantasyland work that is done so masterfully that you will think it was there all along.

FYI, there have been some new restaurants pop-up, as well as a new resort (the Art of Animation), but I assumed you were more focused on entertainment and attractions. Let me know if you need to know more about those too!

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
