My family and I are coming to Disney World in July. My childrens ages are 16, 14, 11, 11 & 1. Where would be the best places for us to eat? We have the Plus Dining Plan, so we get 3 sit down meals. Any suggestions, please!

    Hi, Crystal!

First, consider the children and what they might enjoy.  EPCOT is a great place for the family that doesn't want to eat burgers and fries with every meal.  My gang loves Teppan Edo in Japan, where the hibachi grill is a big hit.  We also always enjoy Les Chefs de France, where you might encounter Chef Remy.

Always good for a few laughs with my girls is 50s Prime Time Cafe at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You dine in Mom's Kitchen (where you have to set the table!), while surrounded by clips from classic television shows.  My girls - even the 20 year old - always get a kick out of it when Dad is reprimanded for having his elbows on the table.

Another family favorite is 'Ohana at the Polynesian.  Everyone is family at 'Ohana, and your cousins serve up an all you can eat oak fire grilled chicken, shrimp, pork and steak, along with some tasty accompaniments!  If you time it right, you may be able to see the Wishes fireworks show as you enjoy your dinner.

I checked with my own 11 year old to get her favorite dining experience, and she recommends the Scie Fi Dine In at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You'll sit in a car in a drive in movie setting while you watch trailers for old science fiction flicks.

If you want a character dining experience (even with teenagers, these can be loads of fun!), we like Crystal Palace (Pooh and friends) or Chef Mickey's (Mickey and friends).  Both are lots of fun with loads of food options.

I want to quickly mention my own personal favorite - Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The food and service are the best I've had anywhere!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
