hi...me and my family will be coming to disney the week of the thanksgiving....can you suggest a good resturant to book for thanksgiving.....thanks

    Hi Paula,

I've spent several Thanksgivings with my family at Walt Disney World. You'll find that on Thanksgiving Day itself nearly every restaurant will get into the holiday spirit. Even many of the resort food courts will add turkey and the fixin's to their menus.

But if you're looking for something more special than that, I think dining at a signature restaurant is the way to go. Disney's signature restaurants offer a refined atmosphere, fabulous gourmet level food, and excellent wine lists. My personal favorite signature restaurant for Thanksgiving is Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. This is where my family dined for Thanksgiving 2009. The Americana feel here is perfect for the mood of the holiday and the food was just like mom makes, only much, much better.

For a slightly less expensive meal, the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom is the way to go for Thanksgiving. They specialize in family style turkey and stuffing year round, so it's something that they know how to do well. The servers there wear American colonial costumes, which adds immensely to the fun.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can provide any additional help.
