Our family of 8 is coming to Disney in September and we're staying at the Contemporary. We'd like to be able to have a glass of wine in the evenings! Does Disney allow us to bring alcohol into the resort for our own consumption?

I assume that you're talking about have a drink in your room in the evening. If so, then feel free.

Beer, wine and some spirits are sold in the gift shop right there in the hotel. You can purchase there, or bring in your own. Particularly in the Disney Vacation Club rooms at the Contemporary, many guests will bring a case of beer or several bottles of wine for their longer stay.

You should also know that there are some lovely wines sold in some of the shops in World Showcase area at Epcot. Again, you are welcome to consume these at your hotel.

If you're talking about BYOB at the lounges or restaurants at WDW, there are some possible restrictions. Check the post HERE for more information.
