Family of 4 coming around the 2nd week in Dec, 7-8 days. I'm overwhelmed with all that has to be planned! Have been once before and stayed at CS, and loved it, but would like to try another moderate resort, suggestions? What parks, days suggestions too?

Hi, Nikki!  There are some amazing moderate properties at Walt Disney World, and Coronado Springs is definitely one of my favorites.  If I had to choose just one, though, I think it would be Port Orleans French Quarter.  I love the smaller feel of this resort, and the buildings make you feel like you are strolling the streets of New Orleans.  The pool area is one of the most fun, and how can you not love a hot cup of coffee and some beignets for breakfast?  If you're there with a sweetheart, you can even take a horse and carriage ride around the property to add a bit of romance to your trip.

As for which parks which days, that's going to depend on the type of theme park person you are.  Do you like to pack in the most park time you can?  Are you more leisurely about your vacation, and want to have time at your resort?  Do you consider yourself an early bird or a night owl?

I usually hit the park with extra magic hours in the morning.  I tend to get up super early, even on vacation, and I like the extra hour in the morning.  I feel like we get a good jump start on the things we wan to do.  I'm not much of a night owl, but I have been known to park hop to the theme park with extra magic hours in the evening, especially if we're on a short trip and want to get more stuff in before we leave.

You can let me know if you have park hoppers, if you want to do extra magic hours, or if you plan on spending a lot of down time at your resort, and I can help you plan better!

    Have a great trip!
