Hello. My family and I (2 children inc. 7 & 3), will be in Disney in July for 2 wks. I want to buy them Disney Dollarsfrom here to use there. Are they still used in all the parks? Also, what is the highest denomination they come in?

Disney Dollars are still accepted in most locations in the Disney World theme parks and resorts. The current denominations available are $1, $5, and $10. For those that are interested in Disney Dollars, I recently came across a great website dedicated to this topic at www.disneydollars.net. The Frequently Asked Questions page is particularly helpful.

All that being said, I personally am not a huge fan of Disney Dollars. I much prefer using Disney gift cards when giving spending money to children. You can read more about this HERE.

Have a wonderful trip to Walt Disney World!
