I have a family of 6 but our 6 child is a 1 year old and sleeps in a pack n play. Do I have to add her to the reservation to avoid needing a suite or an extra stateroom.

    Welcome aboard planDisney, Wilmarie!

Thanks for stopping by with your question. There is so much for families to enjoy on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. Even the youngest in your crew will find special activities and spaces created just for their age, like “it’s a small world” nursery!

Every Guest, no matter the age, counts toward the Guest capacity in a stateroom and the ship's total capacity. So, you will need to add your 1-year-old to your stateroom reservation. If a concierge suite is not in the cards for you, connecting staterooms are available in each of the other stateroom categories. Depending on your desired sail date, these rooms can book up rather quickly, so I recommend making your reservation sooner rather than later.

Wilmarie, since your little one sleeps in a Pack-n-Play, did you know you can request one for your stateroom at no charge? You can also request items such as diaper disposal units and bottle sterilizers. These items are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you've made your reservation, log into My Reservations, select Special Requests, and complete the Special Requests form. It is just one way that Disney Cruise Line makes traveling with little ones a breeze!

Let us know if you have other questions, Wilmarie, or if you need more tips on making the most of your vacation.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
