Hilton Head Resort outside viewing of balconies

    Hi, my family and I will be checking in July 2024 to the Hilton Head Resort, I was wondering if all the renovations will be completed by then? Also, should we bring our refillable Disney cups from the park to our trip? Thank!

    I'm so excited for you to explore Disney Vacation Club's Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort this summer, it's a gorgeous beachfront location that's laidback and chill yet charming. There are many activities for Guests, from swimming to campfires, from hunting for shark teeth to renting a bicycle and exploring the many paths - there is truly something for everyone! 

    You have likely noticed that the DVC resorts are kept in tip-top shape through rotational renovations and it's Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort's turn! I spoke to the wonderful Camille at the Resort's Front Desk and she shared that renovations have been underway for quite sometime and the majority of the Resort is already complete. The Disney Vacation Club has not announced a finish date but it shouldn't be too far off. The current renovations do not interfere with Guests' enjoyment of the Resort and its amenities. You may find the odd path re-routing you but other than that it's business as usual. 

    My family loves using refillable Disney cups even beyond our Walt Disney World Resort stays, they are the perfect poolside accessory and work wonderfully to keep drinks nice and cold. Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort Guests can refill their cups at Signals, located at Disney's Beach House, or at Tide me Over. Guests can purchase a new cup or bring a cup from a previous Walt Disney Resort stay. They can choose to have their cup re-activated for the same price as a new one but save on plastic. 

    While you're visiting Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort, be sure to check in with the Recreation team to discover a wide selection of activities offered to Guests. Nature's the theme of the Resort and you'll see that many activities such as Guided Nature Walks incorporate nature in some way, shape or form. If you see an activity that interests you (perhaps you're eyeing boating tours or kayak tours), registration can be completed upon check-in at the Resort.
