Hi there Laura, welcome to
planDisney!
I love it when I have the chance to chat all things
Walt Disney World Resort with a fellow Canadian. I see you have a question about the
Canadian Resident Ticket offer so let's hop to it.
I was so happy when the Canadian Resident Ticket offer on stays of 5-days or longer was announced, it had been awhile since the last offer for Canadians. As you are aware, all adults will need to show proof of Canadian residency in order to activate the tickets. Please be sure to have your Canadian Passport in hand as your government-issued photo identification.
Unfortunately, Canadian Resident tickets cannot be activated at a Disney Resort Collection hotel. Guests can head to the Welcome Center at
Disney Springs, a ticket window or Guest Relations and Cast Members will assist with activating the tickets. If timing works, I try and activate my family's tickets at Disney Springs so everything is ready to go for our first day at the theme park.
Tip: The Disney Springs Welcome Center sits conveniently at the heart of Disney Springs with the Lime Garage being the nearest parking garage if you happen to be arriving by personal vehicle. Across from the Welcome Center you'll find my preferred burger joint,
D-Luxe Burger. They have the best dipping sauces for fries, I highly recommend checking them out!
I hope this answers your question, Laura. If you think of anything else, please
let me know!
Happy planning,
Candace
