Hi! My Family and I are going to celebrate New Years Eve al the end of this year!! I wanna know if there is some event inside Magic Kingdom, like the Dessert Party, for that night! hope you can help me! a big hug from Peru! :)

¡Hola! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mirella! What a great feeling to answer a question from a fellow Peruvian guest!

The Walt Disney World Resort is the best place to celebrate an anniversary, birthday, graduation, you name it. It is certainly THE perfect place to welcome the New Year!

Regarding activities at Magic Kingdom Park specifically, there will be live entertainment throughout the day and evening, in addition to special midnight fireworks, and others, so be sure to grab a Times Guide as soon as you walk into the Park. On the 31st, Frontierland and Tomorrowland usually host DJ dance parties from 7 p.m. to midnight (*times subject to change); friends from the Briar Patch and the Country Bear Jamboree often make appearances in Frontierland. Expect an upbeat gathering featuring futuristic beats in Tomorrowland as well.

Obviously, the most popular event to watch is Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks close to midnight. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade performed on New Year's Eve last year at both noon and 3:30 p.m. (keep in mind that Park hours, parades and fireworks are always subject to change). Stay tuned by visiting the Disney Parks Blog as the time gets closer.

Pro Tip: Heading to the Park as early as possible is highly advisable. It is not uncommon for the Magic Kingdom Park to reach capacity just a few hours after opening. Be prepared to spend your entire day there; if you decided to leave, and capacity was reached no further admittance would be allowed.

I hope you've found this information useful. Please keep coming with more and more questions as you continue to plan your vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
