Ahoy Charlene!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to hEAR you are
planning a high seas adventure with Captain Mickey!
All four
Disney Cruise Line ships offer great stateroom options. There are a handful of
concierge class staterooms that offer room for seven guests, but most of the staterooms have a four or five guest occupancy limit. For your budget conscious family of six, I would recommend considering two inside or
oceanview staterooms. To keep your family together, you can look to book adjoining staterooms which can be identified on the
ship's deck plans.
There are a lot of factors that go into your cruise fare total including the number of nights, where you are sailing as well as the time of year. If you would like to try to book staterooms with a verandah, you can find
special offers from Disney Cruise Line or cruise during non-peak sail dates to help keep your budget on track.
Both my husband and I do experience some motion sickness, but have not had any trouble onboard Disney Cruise Line. We do typically stay in staterooms that are midship or aft which seems to have helped. Sea-Bands worked for our littlest pirate on our first cruise and my mother-in-law swore by the small patch you wear behind your ear. Add these to your
packing lists so you have them just in case!
Cruise on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions as you plan your magical getaway. We love to help you spread a little pixie dust!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
