My family (2 A, 2 K) my brothers family (2 A, 2 K) would like to dine together while in the world. My ? is, will my 17 month old count as the "8th" person (when not eating, some adr she will be napping through) so we are automatically charged ?

    Hi Ashley!

at Walt Disney World all kids under age 3 dine for free. They can either eat off of their parents plate, eat off the buffet (if its an all-you-care-to-eat restaurant) or the server can advise you of special kids selections (at certain locations) Your 18-month old will not count towards the Disney Dining Plan. However, you will need to note your 18-month old on the Advanced Dining Reservation when booking because this ensures they seat you at a table large enough for your party. They need to account for high chair space for little ones as well.
