My family has booked a trip for the last week in August. I can book my dining next week but the park hours aren’t out yet. Do you know when they will be posted? Also, will their be Disney after hours this summer? Thank!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shawn! How wonderful to know that you have a Summer trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in the works! Thanks for stopping by with your questions.

Park schedules are usually released on the Interactive Parks Calendar with about six months anticipation. Right now, it looks like you’re less than a week from being able to view those park hours. You can see the calendars in different formats. 5-day views, day views or by the month. The month view is always my favorite choice. If you choose the 5-day or the daily view, you will be able to see listed times for firework shows and parades.

Disney After Hours events give you the chance to feel like you have the park all to yourself! With very low wait times and complimentary beverages and treats, it sounds like a pretty good night to me. Shawn, it looks like schedules for those events are being posted with about three-months anticipation. I would check back during the month of May to see if dates for this special event become available during the dates of your stay this coming August. But you can always call (407) 939-7795 to speak to a friendly Cast Member for more information.

Did you know that Walt Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can enjoy discounts for this awesome nighttime event? When purchasing your tickets, just remember to log on to your My Disney Experience account to be able to take advantage of any savings that may apply to you and your crew.

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to plan your magical stay. If you have any additional questions, feel free to stop back in to see us!
