My family just booked a 5 night cruise aboard the Magic leaving May 18th! This will be our first cruise and I have been getting a head start on outfit planning. I was wondering if the no tank top rule included sleeveless/strapless dresses? Thanks! :)

    Hi Amber!

Congratulations on booking your first cruise onboard the amazing Disney Magic!  You're going to love all that cruising has to offer from the delicious dining options to the Broadway-style shows to having fun in the sun on the pool deck!  A five day cruise is a perfect amount of time for your crew to experience a magical sea vacation!

I love coordinating my families evening attire and start planning months in advance just like you! Sleeveless and strapless tops are absolutely appropriate for the dining rooms onboard.   In the summer, I am a sleeveless/strapless kind of girl and especially love to wear these type of dresses and shirts while cruising!  It is sometimes chilly in the dining rooms and on deck, so you might want to have a light sweater or wrap each night.

I am so excited for you to be embarking on your first cruise adventure!  If you think of any more questions before the big day, please let me know!

Have a wonderful day and Bon Voyage!
