Hi. My family booked the Magic 2 night cruise from NYC. I am looking for info re: entertainment & activities (mainly character interation). Also would there be a sail away deck party and if so when does it occur (we have main seating for dining). Tha

    Hi Vickie,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!   A two-night cruise on the Disney Magic sounds like the perfect weekend getaway for your crew!  At this time, there has not been any information released about the specific entertainment and activities.  When I have spoken with Disney Cruise Line, they have informed me that you will see two shows, and there will be ample activities offered just like on any other sailing.  One thing I do know is a Disney Cruise is not complete without many opportunities for character interactions.  Captain Mickey and his crew along with the Princesses and many of your other Disney favorites will be aboard for photos and autographs.  Your daily cruise newsletter, The Personal Navigator will list all the details so be sure to carry it around with you so you don't miss out on any of your favorites!  There is also a board in the Atrium that you can check for character meet & greets times and locations.

You can expect "Adventures Away," the sailaway deck party, to begin around 4:30.  Main seating is at 5:45 so you should have plenty of time to enjoy the show, wave bon voyage to NYC, and still get back to your room to change.

I hope my answers help with your planning!  If you think of anything else before you set sail, please let me know!

    Have a magical day!
