My family and I have booked a January 2012 trip to Disney. So far we have a room/tickets package and are hoping for a free dining deal. We are planning a return trip in Dec. 2012. If we upgrade to annual passes how would this affect our dining plan?

Hi Michael, You should check now for free dining offers with Disney. You can go right to www.Disney.com and look at the current offers. In addition, sign up for the Walt Disney World Resorts Facebook and Twitter pages if you are a social media fan. Finally, Mousesavers.com and AlllEarsNet.xom always have the latest on Disney deals as well. At the current price of the annual pass, you will need to visit Walt Disney World approximately 16 days to be the same price as the park hopper. However, you need to figure out prices for food and hotel when comparing the two options. You can not receive free dining with the annual pass as it is booked as a package on your ticket. You could purchase Tables of Wonder with your annual pass which would allow you a discount at certain restaurants at WDW. Your best bet would be to talk to a cast member at guest relations at one of the four major parks. They can instruct you on the best way to convert your ticket. Remember to chat with them prior to using the last day on your ticket. Wishing youba magical vacation! Beth
