    My family and I have just booked our first Disney cruise. We will traveling in Jan 2014 on the Wonder. I have a question regarding dinner attire for the guys. Can my husband and son wear dress shorts to dinner or do they have to wear dress pants?

    Welcome aboard, Stacey! Congratulations on booking your very first cruise with Disney! You've got such excitement ahead of you, I'm sure that January can't come soon enough!

    Disney Cruise Line just recently relaxed their dining attire for cruise casual evenings onboard the ships. In the past, they asked that no shorts be worn, however they are now allowing guests to be more casual in the evenings. Nicer shorts and dressier jeans are allowed in the main dining rooms, so your husband and son will be perfectly appropriate in dress shorts for dinners. You may want to bring some dress pants too, for the dressier evenings onboard, as there will be a dress up night too. But, on cruise casual nights, they'll look great in their dress shorts.
