My family is booked on a 7 day Fantasy Cruise in May. I would like to spend one day at WDW before the cruise starts. If we drive down to WDW, can we leave our car at our resort hotel if we use the cruise line shuttle to the port?

    Hey Mary Jo!

Sailing on a ship during her inaugural year is an unforgettable experience!  I'm excited your family will have this wonderful opportunity!

Did you know that Disney Cruise Line does offer a Pre-Cruise Package that you can add on to your existing reservation?  You may be interested in this option since you are arriving one day prior to your Fantasy cruise.

Disney Cruise Line does offer ground transfers for a fee from the Walt Disney World Resorts. The transfers are $70 per person for round trip service but are subject to change.  A motorcoach will pick up your family and transport all of you to the Disney Cruise Line Terminal usually between 12:00-2:00 on embarkation day.  Specific times will either be listed in your cruise documents which you receive 10-14 days before cruising, or your resort will let you know when you check in the day before.  The ride to the port is only about an hour, and it will go by in a flash while you are entertained by a  Disney Cruise Line video!

If purchasing ground transfers does not work for your  family, you do have the option to drive your car to the port and park in the secured deck there.  Parking is $15 per day but is also subject to change.

If you have any other questions about your Fantasy cruise, please stop back by and let me know!
